I can’t make songs so I fiddle about with synths instead. It always ends up;sounding like Clark. Strange.
New remix by my band, Don’t Eat Sky, which is me and David Thatcher. We spent ages on it.
Hollie and I were talking about ways that we can help Japan, and we decided to put together a compilation of electronic/ambient artists for a release and donate the proceeds to the relief efforts. 100% of the proceeds will go to the Japan Earthquake Relief Fund set up by New York’s Japan Society. We will be releasing the compilation next week digitally and a physical release will follow.
The compilation will be called “For Nihon”.

Here’s one of Sam Miller’s finished animations, Clouds. The guy is a class act.
“It’s delightful and considered, I love how the melancholy is wrapped around an uplifting, heaven-bound body. All the tracks work together beautifully, the production is absolutely gorgeous.”
“Thats rather nice.”
“That’s fucking brilliant! Love it!”
“Oh man that’s great! Please don’t think I’m being crass with the comparisons, but for me, it has an air of Vangelis and maybe some Orb.”
“It’s the sort of EP where you put it on, and then when it finishes you’re sad because it’s not on anymore.”
All said by internet people.
“The single greatest musical achievement of our time.” - Woody Allen
“You’ll look stupid in a yellow hat. Ugh, those are girls’ shoes!” - My Mum
Thanks for any and every comment. I am genuinely touched.
An unfinished animation by Sam Miller which I provided the music for. Sam did the art for Under the Whale’s Tongue. He’s brills.
